The Urban SoulPad

When a couple of bouncy SoulPad customers contacted the SoulPad offices with this 'holiday snap' we couldn't resist but make a song and dance of it and use it (with their kind permission) for our 2008 advertising campaign.

Our hat goes off to these bold friends of SoulPad (Camper 1 and Camper 2 shall remain anonymous for legal reasons). We're amazed that these guys had the nerve to even attempt to pull this stunt off. And they did pull it off. They absolutely got away with it!

Camper 1 : "I really enjoy wild camping and testing the rules. There are unwritten codes of conduct that all wild campers know to follow, but noone really seems to know the rules when it comes to camping in seemingly public spaces. I'm used to camping discreetly in the far reaches of some farmer's land, most of the time unnoticed, but I use a much smaller tent for that kind of trip."

'Camper 2' : "We just got bored of doing things quietly and thought this time we'd take our SoulPads instead of our usual low-key abodes. Rather than camp in some remote area, we thought we'd have a go at camping in a more public place and really challenge the boundaries of what is acceptable."

'Camper 1': "Yeah man!"

'Camper 2':  "Well, actually we planned the trip when we were rather inebriated, and it went from there. But, we have challenged the boundaries haven't we?"

Camper 1: "Yes, definitely. There was a boundary, we challenged it, and we got away with it! In a way we kind of wanted to get caught, to at least be asked what we were doing. But nobody came to move us on or to even ask questions. We weren't frowned upon at all. I'd do it again...wouldn't you?"

Camper 2: "Hell yes! Where's next?"

In no way does SoulPad Ltd endorse the use of SoulPad tents for this purpose. We are interested to know how you will use yours though. Send your holiday snaps to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
