This SoulPad® really stands out from the crowd. You will never lose your tent amongst the endless domes again! Towering a massive 3.5 metres above the ground, with a generous 5 metre diameter floor plan, it has bags of available space.

The 5000-tribe™ takes it roots from both the northern Scandinavian Lavvu (for structural design) and the Native American tipi (for aesthetics). Like the Lavvu, the 5000-tribe™ has a very large footprint. A significant area is in contact and anchored to the ground by three series of ground pegs. The first set are at the base of the groundsheet (out of sight), the second are at the base of the 'walls' with adjustable tensioners, and the third set are based at the foot of the guys.

Like the Lavvu, the 5000-tribe™ is less vertical and more stable than a tipi in high winds. This type of design was historically used by the indigenous cultures of the treeless plains of northern Scandinavia and the high arctic of Eurasia to follow their reindeer herds. It can take a good battering from strong winds.

A variable vent at the top can be manually adjusted to harness the breeze, or can even be removed for star-gazing. With just one central pole, the weight has been kept to an absolute minimum at just 31.2kg - making this one of the most lightweight 100% cotton canvas tipis on the market. All the fun and feel of a tipi without the hassle of numerous heavy, and hard to transport poles.

This SoulPad® is extra snug when combined with the Blaze™ stove. The Blaze™ stove can be fitted using either the Blaze-flue™ through the 'wall', or the Blaze-tribeflue™ through the vent cap. Either way, this complete system enables the user to seriously stretch out the camping season.

To give an idea of the internal space available in this SoulPad® - it can easily fit 4 standard sized double air-mattresses, and still allow plenty of space for the entrance and all of your gear!
