A. The best of both worlds! A SoulPad® with a super thick and durable groundsheet which can be unzipped from the canvas to allow the walls to be rolled up. This SoulPad® combines all the luxury and practicality of the SoulPad-ease™ tents, with all of the fun and drama of the SoulPad-lites™ Measuring a dinky 3 metres in diameter, the main difference between this SoulPad® and the others is that the luxurious, extra thick (540g/m2) , waterproof groundsheet can be zipped on and off. So the walls can either be fixed down into position with the zip, or they can be unzipped and rolled up. The zip is protected and concealed by a canvas storm flap that runs its length to ensure zero penetration of water.
Suffice to say, this SoulPad® has been designed with the festival-goer in mind and is set to deal with anything that the UK weather can throw at it (yes, we were at Glade 2007 and Bestival 2008)! Whilst this is a great festival tent, the 3000-hybrid™ has a multitude of other uses: -
-a perfect annex for the kids.
-extra storage space for a family camping trip.
-an unobtrusive toilet tent.
To give an idea of the internal space available in this SoulPad® - it can easily accommodate two standard single, or one standard double air-mattresses (view more images here), and still allow plenty of space for the entrance and equipment/luggage. The 3000-hybrid™ will comfortably accommodate two users.The air-mattress sizes used in our images measure as follows: - Double: 183 x 128 x 5cm (LxWxD)
Single: 200 x 74 x 8cm (LxWxD) Just as with the SoulPad-eases™, The 3000-hybrid™ has a luxurious, extra thick (540g/m2) groundsheet attached which is 100% waterproof. This groundsheet is 'bath tub' style, so if you find yourself at a festival camping in a field-turned-lake, you know it's not going to let the water in.
If you're lucky enough to be at a sunny festival and in need of some cool, breezy shade, simply unzip the groundsheet and roll the walls up. Perfect if you need to catch some Zzz's on a hot day.
