Jonny Hooker of Fossil Collective tells us "I've been chilling out in my SoulPad for a few years now and can hand on heart say it's the best festival tent around. Loads of space and looks cool and we've even used it backstage at festivals as a rehearsal space. Brilliant for kids too. Dave and I both have one and we love them..."
We're really pleased to welcome our new Admin Assistant, Helen Shepherd to the SoulPad team this month.
Please 'go easy' on Helen until she settles in :]
Some of you might recognise Helen from the SoulPad Villages at festivals. Helen has worked with SoulPad in the past, teaching yoga from her SoulPad 5000-hybrid alongside the SoulPad Villages.
Helen's website will tell you more about Helen and the type of yoga she practises. Or you can connect with Helen on a deeper level through Facebook.
We wish you continued success with SoulPad Helen!

Oh yay! Oh yay! The Hound has a Pad! Our new best mate (as we like to think of him) - Rufus Hound, has opted for the SoulPad 5000-hybrid-G to carry him through the festival circuit and beyond.
Those of you following our involvement with Peace Camp - InTents will be interested to know that the first of the schools’ tents for Peace Camp is now finished and is going up on the Southbank in London from 28th June – 1st July as part of the Poetry Parnassus festival.
With the untimely deaths of so many campers being related to Carbon Monoxide poisoning each year, we were keen to team up with UKCampsite.co.uk to help raise awareness of the associated dangers.
Our friends at UKCampsite.co.uk say;
"BBQs and Carbon Monoxide - Important Please ReadPlease note, although you may be tempted to put your barbeque in your tent, or tent porch, either during or after use, to keep you warm, DONT! It may kill you, and very quickly.
Carbon monoxide fumes from BBQs are invisible, odourless, and lethal. Even if you think it's safe, and the flames have died down, don't do it. The smouldering coals may be warm, but they will kill you. Even with the tent doors open. Even just in the porch. Please don't do it!
You can download a warning poster here alerting of the dangers of carbon monoxide - why not laminate it and put it in your tent window, or maybe ask the next site you visit to put it up in their reception window. ( poster is a PDF file )

Commissioned by the London 2012 Festival and created by Deborah Warner in collaboration with Fiona Shaw, we're privileged to be supplying SoulPad tents for the Peace Camp - InTents project - "a poignant exploration of the great love poetry of our nations and a celebration of the extraordinary variety and beauty of our coastline."
The SoulPad tents will be used in an extraordinary way. Student's finished poems will be passed to peers studying Art & Design who will work with textile artists to create artworks from the texts of their poems. These will then be patched and appliquéd onto the inside walls of the tents.
The finished SoulPads will go on public exhibition and host live poetry events in the areas local to the secondary schools, before travelling to London’s Southbank during October 2012 where all twelve tents will be displayed together as part of National Poetry Day Celebrations.

Well looky here! The humble SoulPad has made front cover of the second edition of Cool Camping 'Kids' - A hand-picked selection of exceptional family campsites and camping experiences. Not out 'till April (awww) but available to pre-order with Amazon (yay!)
That SoulPad bunting looks lovely too!
According to the experts the SoulPad prices should all end in a '9' if we're to drive a greater demand for our goods. So instead of an item being 30.00, we should be displaying it as 29.99 in order to clinch the sale.
Pffffft! Really? We don't think so.
SoulPad® is not an ordinary company. When we formed, we did so because we knew we had something fantastic to offer and by now lots of you agree. We strive to be different, to be great at what we do. We take pride in what we do and we believe that a first-class product speaks volumes about the people that made it. While our competitors may copy our words, our images and our designs, they cannot copy our spirit. What sets us apart is not just the bell tents designed by us, or the rigorous testing they have to endure.
Phroagh! What an honour? Craig Charles using a SoulPad. Being massive fans of Red Dwarf and Robot Wars (The Waaaars), we managed to hold our composure as we made plans to have Craig's SoulPad ready-pitched for him at Glastonbury 2011. Don't think we gushed too much. Although, with retrospect maybe we could've left out the 20-piece brass band and the huge, flashing neon sign erected next to his Pad stating "Craig Charles is Here"
Craig tells us he is loving his SoulPad 5000-hybrid™.
The perfect space for he and his wife to kick back in whilst enjoying the festival circuit and plenty big enough for he and his crew to hang out in too.
