Meet the new SoulPad 5000 hybrid-G-XL. Bigger, Better, Bolder.
Russell and his fiancee Laura are pretty smitten with their new addition. A beautiful, new SoulPad 4000-hybrid, mostly for garden use at their cottage in Oxfordshire. Although Russell has indicated they may venture further a field...
Their mission is simple; 1. find a £200 car, 2. travel from Salop to Saigon. In aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance, best mates Ed & Bruce hope to raise as much money as possible while enjoying an adventure of a lifetime.
When they approached SoulPad for sponsorship we didn't have to think twice.
Another positive review, this time from our friends at Wild Running; -
"To date we’ve spent around 200 nights in our SoulPad. It’s been snowed, hailed and torrentially rained upon, battered by gales and -for a couple of days at least- baked by the sun. We’ve put it up and down so many times we’ve lost count. It’s been dragged around the country in the back of our pickup and subjected to various methods of rigorous testing by two pre-schoolers. And it’s still absolutely brilliant: we’ve had no leaks, no malfunctions and no failures."
Our bezzies over at Pi Productions (a TV production company run by John Silver, who created Grand Designs and reinvented MasterChef) are making a brand new documentary series for a major national broadcaster. The series will follow people as they relocate to start a new life and a new business.
We happen to know they would be particularly interested in following someone taking over or opening a camping/glamping business.
So if you're planning to ditch the 9 to 5 to pursue a career in glamping, this could be a great opportunity to showcase your new venture.
Pi are looking for people who are embarking on their journey this Spring or Summer.
Need a big field with great facilities for your gathering? Our friends at Top Farm, Norfolk can help.
Pricing currently starts at £850.00 for the exclusive hire of their Festival Field (from noon on a Friday till noon on a Sunday outside of the school holidays).
What's included for £850?

You've just got to love Chris' reaction to receiving his brand new SoulPad 4000-hybrid-G. Who'd have thought that before receiving his SoulPad Chris wasn't that into the idea of camping?
When legendary Historian, TV Presenter, Writer and father of two; Dan Snow heads out to hit the UK festival scene, his choice of SoulPad is the SoulPad 4000-hybrid-G.
At 1.98m tall, Dan wanted a tent he could move around in freely and stand up in to get dressed. He also wanted his tent to remain cool if it was going to be a hot summer as his young children would be going along with him.
We caught up with Dan after a trip to Bestival. Dan told us:
Here, Julie Bowen looks at doing Glasto on a budget. Julie says;
Going to the Glastonbury Festival isn't cheap these days. We've looked at how much you'll need to save up so you can focus on having a great time instead of worrying about money.
The Glastonbury Festival has been going for more than 40 years and is easily the biggest and most famous festival in the UK, with more than 100 stages showcasing the best music and performing arts.
Where? Worthy Farm, just outside the Somerset village of Pilton.
When? The weekend after the summer solstice at the end of June. In 2014 it will take place from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 June.
Capacity: 175,000 tickets, plus thousands more volunteers and artists
Pro tip: Most festivals keep their arena and campsites separate, meaning you can only buy alcohol from their bars when you're in the arena. At Glastonbury you can carry your own drink and food wherever you like, as long as it's for personal consumption.
